Best backpack bag I have ever owned

This backpack is amazing! In the brave new world of airline travel where they keep shrinking the size of what is allowed under the seat, this gem of a backpack delivers big time! It meets the under seat measurements for most, if not all airlines.I can pack for at least a week in this bag. It's like a clown car. I keep adding more items and it doesn't run out of room. My qualified disclaimer is that I'm 5 feet and my clothes are mostly kid size clothes, so I have a big advantage. I mean there has to be some small perk for not being able to reach things in my kitchen cabinets without dragging out the step ladder.Because I travel a lot, most of my clothes are quick dry material. I'm not packing blue jeans and sweatshirts. Think efficient, hiking kind of clothes, although I do manage to have room for a more dressy outfit. I'm not looking to be a fashionista when I travel. My priority is to look neat and be comfortable. The interior and exterior pockets are intelligently designed. The materials and construction are very good quality. This backpack gives you a ton of bang for your buck.

Would give more stars if I could - brilliant bag!

I’ve had this bag for nearly a year. It’s joined me on 4+ flights - all with Ryanair.I’ve never been stopped and asked to measure the bag - I always just walk on, a massive bonus… maybe just luck but very never even had a second glance. First easily under the seat in front even when I’ve rammed it full.I managed to pack for a 4 night stay using just this bag - I took two outfits for each day plus a spare, my toiletries, kindle, chargers etc. it is deceptively spacious! As I said I’ve used this on 4 overseas trips but many more staycations and it is still going strong, it is very durable. There are some slight marks on the outside but it’s light pink/beige - what do you expect? That being said though it doesn’t look grubby.I love the secret pouch for passports or money - a great addition. The padding is comfortable as the bag can end up weighing a lot as you can fit so much in!Overall this is one of my best purchases. Does exactly what it should, is clearly a quality item, looks great - the colour is lovely (think clean girl aesthetic!) and holds everything I need for a trip away. Really impressed and would buy again!

Fills in where other bags fall short

After packing and unpacking no fewer than 4 bags in my horde trying to get everything to fit for an international flight, I frustratedly got this bag short notice and it was delivered same day. I was skeptical at first thinking there were so many other high quality bags out there for 3 times the cost of this, but what did I have to lose? I was pleasantly surprised at not only the ample capacity of this bag, but the quality of it. The value of this bag on first impression was well beyond the financial cost. The only things lacking from what I saw were locking zippers, but every personal item bag in their line has a security pocket on the back panel so I could make do. This trip will tell how the bag holds up under practical usage - I’ll update after we get back!Update 1, 3 days into the trip: I’m still impressed with the capacity of this bag. It fit perfectly under the seat in front of me. The three things that would improve this bag include a grip at the bottom of the bag in case it needs to go into overhead storage, built in zipper locks or a way to prevent the zippers from opening too easily, and more padding on the straps. If you fill the bag to capacity or go over about 7kg, it starts to hurt your shoulders from the straps chafing. I had a hard time wearing my bag for longer than 5 minutes at a time because the straps felt like they were cutting into my shoulders. Also the stitching around the straps looks like it might break after a bit. Overall, I still think the bag is great value for the price.Update 2: end of 3 week trip with three additional flights, 1 coach ride, 4 cities total. The bag held up well all the way through, but I left it behind in the last hotel after getting a different bag in country. This one’s mesh straps hurt my shoulders more than a smooth-backed strap would. I had it loaded to about 9kg (~20 lb) total weight according to an airline scale. The straps don’t come with any kind of sternum strap nor a way to attach one diy without sewing one in, so they dug into my armpits and made me sweatier than normal.Bottom line: great bag, I still give it a 5/5 because of its sneaky capacity, lovable pockets, the inner securing strap, and it came in clutch when I needed it most. Probably would have been more comfy if I’d not loaded it to 9kg, might have been better in the 4.5 - 7kg range. Added some pictures of the threading I was concerned about and the zipper starting to get some fluff from use.

Fantastic purchase for travel - makes so much difference as to how much you can bring

So I do not often write reviews but this bag is fantastic. It makes so much difference as to what you can bring. I have handbags and other rucksacks which are similar in dimension to the cabin bag size but have this actually makes soo much difference and meant that I could bring loads more. I could do a long weekend with just this bag so easily.Practicality - it has so many different compartments and is just really well designed. It has a section for a water bottle at the side, a hidden compartment at the back so nobody could access things like your passport, a hole for your power bank and a little holder as one of the many compartment inside of the bag, as well as a variety of other sections to store items in.Appearance is the only area where the bag could be better. The material is not the nicest and I wouldn’t describe the bag as fashionable or luxurious looking. However it wasn’t awful looking, especially because it’s really obvious that it’s for travelling. It’s just as nice or nicer than the alternatives and to be honest for the price there’s nothing better. The ones that are described as luxury are just tacky.Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a travel backpack

Does what it says on the tin.

Fitted comfortably under the plane seat. Fairly thin fabric but seemed strong enough. Lots of pockets and opens flat for packing which is very handy. True colour is lighter grey than it looks. Will definitely use it for short trips, even those not involving a flight.

Fantastic storage in personal item size

I used this backpack as a personal item on a United Airlines international flight recently and I am so happy that I purchased it! I was able to fit an incredible amount of clothing in the main interior pocket along with a pair of sandals in the side pocket that is actually meant for a power bank. I used compression cubes to fit most of the clothes I needed for an eight day beach vacation as well as a mifold booster seat for my daughter. The navy color was true to pictures and I was happy with my choice. This bag was perfect for using for air travel but could also be a great weekend bag as well. I had it stuffed full and used the compression straps on the side and it was still easy to place below the seat in front of me and held up perfectly well. The side pockets easily hold an 18oz yeti. For the price, it was an extremely good and useful buy and I've already recommended it to others.

Best Travel Backpack!

My husband and I both received this backpack for our trip to Europe. It was so perfect that when my daughter needed a new carry-on, we got her one of these backpacks for her own. The fabric is sturdy. I has numerous exterior pockets. We used the top small pocket for chargers, battery packs, and adapters. The medium size front pocket was perfect for toiletries, bandaides, protein bars, and more. The large exterior pocket was used for swimwear, undergarments, etc. The main compartment is so spacious. Two pairs of sneakers, a pair of sandals and numerous outfits. Once the main compartment is zipped, there are side buckles on both sides, that when closed and the straps are pulled, compressed the bag so it's not so bulky. The backpack straps are padded and very comportable. This is a perfect weekend back, and if you're a thoughtful packer, it can even be used for a week trip. Looks great too!

Versatile backpack - when stuffed full or used as a lightweight daybag

Excellent bag - I always used to travel with a backpack but which was too big to really use as a daybag once I got to my desination. This has changed all that - with the side straps you can cinch it in really thin when out and about for the day, but when travelling stretch it back out again. The straps were very comfy and plenty of handy pockets - especially the 'passport' pocket on the top - very hand in the airport. The main pocket opens fully out like a suitcase, which took a bit of getting used to in a backpack, and I think next time I would pack smaller items into a packing cube to avoid anything falling out, but now I'm used to it I love the bag. Definitely a keeper - and I love that it's made of recycyled plastic bottles too!

Perfect for avoiding baggage fees on Spirit!

This worked great for a 3 day trip to Florida! I think if you’re a savvy packer and willing to re-wear or wash clothing, you could definitely do 5 or more days to a warm destination. Probably wouldn’t hold much if you are packing bulky items and still want to meet the personal item requirements on an Airline (we flew Spirit), but overall an excellent choice. Tons of pockets and the inside allowed for use of every available inch. I love that it opens and packs like a suitcase. My only wish would be that it had a chest strap to make it easier to carry through the airport. I bought two, one for me and one for my husband and it was a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Looks robust.

I bought it for work, so not flown with it. Feels sturdy. Comfortable to carry manages a 1.5 litre generic water bottle in the side pocket. Loads of pockets to seperate things.

A very well designed bag

I am very happy with this purchase. It is very comfortable to wear with its padded straps, is full of useful compartments, compression straps and is really well designed. I haven't tested it on EasyJet yet which will be the real test but have had no issues with other airlines.

100% Worth It

Gonna buy another one just to have an extra.I bought this backpack on June 10th 2024. I’ve had it for well over a year and absolutely love this backpack. I travel for work and this works perfectly as a personal item for Frontier and Spirit guidelines.I tend to stuff mine with my purse, switch, Stanley, jacket, snacks, stuffed animal, medications, 2 portable chargers and small travel items on the inside pocket pouches. I put my iPad and cords in the first pocket. I also love the small pocket near the handle on the top of the backpack. I tuck my ID and easy accessible things like tissues or recipes from airport transactions in it. I would say this backpack is 100% worth it. Keeps my stuff organized during travel and is easy to reach into during flights. The straps have padding and so does the part that rests against your back for comfort. The color matches the picture and I haven’t had any issues with durability. There is a lot more room than there looks to be in the photos. The straps near the drink pouch work perfectly to hold my 40 oz as only the bottom of it fits into the pouch but it helps it stay in the pouch; otherwise it holds normal or smaller bottles or tumblers.I will say I have used this backpack every trip and it has withstand a lot of travel and wear and tear (I’m home maybe 2-3 months of the year). The backpack’s I had before were too small to fit all my stuff or too big to fit the airline guided bins for personal items. The price for what I have gotten out of this is absolutely worth it.

Great "Small" Bag

I’ve been using this carry-on for a few trips now and it’s exactly what I hoped for. The size is spot-on for Ryanair’s 40x20x25 cm limit, so I’ve had no issues getting it accepted at the gate and it’s surprisingly roomy inside for a “small” bag.The material feels durable and water-resistant, and the organised compartments make packing easy, there’s plenty of room for essentials, tech accessories, and travel documents. Straps are comfortable whether I’m carrying it by hand or over my shoulder, and it’s lightweight enough that it doesn’t add much extra weight to what I can pack.Overall it’s been a reliable travel companion practical, well-made, and exactly the right size for budget flights. Definitely worth it if you’re flying with Ryanair or other airlines with strict cabin luggage limits.

Great carry on bag, lightweight and with security features

I’ve had this bag for going on for 2 years. It’s great for carrying on a plane or a hotel stay for 1 or 2 nights. I’ve failed to find another travel backpack that has better features, even more expensive ones. I like the zipped security pocket on the back and the handy top zipped compartment. Front section is so useful for toiletries/passing through security. I also love the side straps that tighten and cinch it in so its smaller if you’re not carrying much. Useful side and top carry handles as well. Got navy to go with a yellow suitcase. It also has the suitcase strap so you can pull it along on top your your case. One of the lightest bags for the size and capacity out there!

Better than expensive brand names and perfect for travelling the world!

I watched so many youtube videos before I found and purchased this one.I really didn't want to spend over $200 on a bag, but I felt like I should probably splurge, since I will be traveling a lot with it. I am trying to travel as light as possible because I would like to go just one bag so I have the freedom of travelling around without dragging a big carryon bag around.Well, this one is only 1.6lbs, which is lighter than almost all of the expensive backpacks I have seen reviewed. The way it's compartmentalized is perfect. I love the way it has the luggage style inside with plenty of room to pack flat or use packing cubes inside, and then a really nice size pocket besides that for snacks and tech etc, and the outer pocket which has plenty of room for things like folded hats, paperwork, travel cables, clothes lines, etc. (Don't keep passport in there since it's on the outside.) The middle pocket zips all the way around, which I like, so you can open it up as wide as you like (secure the zipper on the TOP of the bag, not the sides, for security)The straps and the back of it are padded and comfy.I haven't tested how waterproof it is and hope I don't have to lol. It is very sturdy cloth (?), though. I like to put pins on my backpacks, and it was hard to get the pin through the fabric. I probably defeated the purpose of the waterproofness by doing that, but that's ok because it was just on the outer pocket, plus, since it was so hard to push them through, I imagine it will be fine. The zippers are SO smooth. I can just pull it open. That's something that's super important to me, because I have a lot of pain in my hands and opening zippers is hard and painful for me. But the zipper also seems very sturdy. I'll be testing it out. I won't be stuffing it full and tight, though. The 80% rule is pretty good. Another good thing about the zippers is that they have holes big enough in the pull to be able to use the tiny biners to lock the zippers together. You could use a small lock if you wanted, too. I like that extra ability for security.Plus, it looks cool. :)Overall, it's a super great value! I'm so glad I found it. It's perfect in every way for me. It will easily carry everything I need for a trip anywhere, for as long as I want. One note: depending on the airline, it might be too large to be a personal item and might need to be put in the overhead bin (or god forbid, gate checked). I will try to get by with it, though! I think it will be a good size for buses in Mexico and not be needed to be thrown under the bus. We'll see and I will report back about these things.
